What exactly is Glossier and why are people talking about Glossier?

I am sure that certain of you were fans of Glossier for many years and have a right to do so. Me? I was a big snob, I was oblivious to the buzz surrounding it, and failing to find out the reasons behind its uniqueness from any other brand of beauty. In the past month, I was watching an show the show How I Built This with Emily Weiss and was intrigued by her story. I was enthralled by the idea of a cosmetics company that was backed by people. So when I arrived living in New York City, my group of friends and I headed to towards The Glossier the flagship shop.

I am known for my desire for a natural, non-makeup makeup look. you all know that GLOSSIER was very well-made for me. What was I thinking? !

The experience itself was fantastic The experience was amazing. It’s essential if you’re ever located in LA or NYC or should they appear in your area. Additionally, the prices were more affordable than I’d envisioned. It’s an amazing thing that I didn’t walk away with the same thing, in all honesty.

The thing I love about the makeup products Glossier has created is that they’re lightweight, and are very customizable. The following four items are ones I’ve effortlessly added to my daily makeup routine and have been using regularly for the past month. They include:

GOSSIER BOY BROW IN BROWN

The hype around Boy Brow seemed so convincing that it made me want to dislike it. But, I was at the store of Glossier wearing it, and immediately becoming awestruck. This is my first experience applying any kind of eyebrow mascara of any kind, however I must say that I am in love with the texture it gives. I apply my normal makeup powder on top but this Boy Brow adds volume and my brows are left with just the right amount of volume.

GLOSSIER STRETCH CONCEALER IN MEDIUM

This was the product I was most excited about because I’m always on looking for a good concealer, and I’d heard good reports about it. At the counter I’ve noticed that they’re selling in every shade (which I’ve discovered is because they introduced an entirely new line of products a few several days after) and I was utterly disappointed. The adorable lady who helped me hook an individual up and gave me an ounce in the middle shade. I am so thankful to her for this. I’ve used it for a long time however my one complaint is the fact that it comes with cool undertones that don’t much help with my dark undereye circles. I apply it just a bit and then apply it over my moisturizer that is tinted and it is working great. Additionally, since I love my stretch-concealer, I’m buying the brand new G9 shade which is an icy medium! It’s possible to purchase an Skin Tint while I’m at it, as they offer an amazing deal on the purchase of the combo. Have you ever used this Skin Tint? Feedback is always appreciated prior to I decide to purchase.

Glamourier CLOUD PAINT DUSK

Cloud paint is a creamy blush. This Dusk shade is a particular brownish , nude color. It’s great as the look of a brown blush, or contouring. I’ve also used the product on my eyelids and it’s stunning! The shades of pink and nude shine on the lids , creating beautiful eyeshadow. The friend of mine Alex is green with eyes, and when she applied this Cloud Paint in Dusk on her lids, her eyes was so vibrant it was unbelievable!

G SHEER GLOSSIER MATTE LIPSTICK CAKE

This is a subtle shade for me, but it does make the world of difference. It is a pleasure having a look that looks like I have minimal or no makeup and this shade certainly is for me. When I was in the shop, two of the people I was shopping with put on this lipstick also and it appeared amazing, but also different for us all!

I’d also like to add that I am disappointed not to have an Haloscope Highlighter because I’ve heard that it’s amazing and so is The Invisible Shield Sunscreen because apparently you aren’t able to purchase it on the internet to Canada. Perhaps I’ll add more products to my next order, and also do more Glossier reviews.
