MY BABY SHOWER BRUNCH

A cheeky Sunday brunch to celebrate the new baby!

I’m sure there’s a lot of moms-to-be-be who would love to throw a Baby Shower but haven’t had the chance to celebrate because of the lockdown. If you’re an expecting or a new mom (or know someone) who was unable to attend hosting a baby shower due to the lockdown of Covid-19, One Tough Mom will host an event called a Virtual Baby Shower on June 2nd. Everyone will receive her famous postpartum boxes. There will be several amazing speakers planned with over $1500 worth of raffle prizes, and funds will be donated to Mamas To Mamas. Tickets cost $50 (this is a fantastic bargain) and there are only 10 spaces remaining! If you see this today I’m giving away tickets at the Baby Shower which will end on the 6th of May. It’s easy to participate in the contest, visit my Instagram for moredetails!

It’s funny to think that I’d decided not to throw an event for a baby shower at the start of the year (if I had known the future state of the world might be). Adam and I did not want an abundance of baby items in our house and, with such huge families and circles of friends it shouldn’t be a small event. We were much more enthused by the idea of spending time with family members when our daughter was born even if it meant more of a commitment to time.

I was looking to make a small effort which is why my friends decided to host a casual brunch a few days before the due date. It’s a blessing that we got together prior to things went off the rails. I didn’t get around to blogging about the breakfast, so I wanted to share a few pictures and photos of the event.

The girls amazed me with their mobile spa servicethat was an amazing idea! At the convenience of my house friend Tessa’s the girls all got a manicure or pedi. They spoiled the girl with two. You’re a girl who needed it! My feet were in a particularly poor condition as I was unable to get them to them LOL.

It was the perfect thing to do and having an at-home experience was a great way to stay social. We all enjoyed coffee, ate breakfast and bonded with one another while taking turns being pampered by our Luxe Beauty Lounge team. It was fun and casual just what I’d hoped for. They are so familiar with me!

No-fuss serve yourself brunch! Yogurt and non-dairy yogurt served with an assortment of fresh fruits including granola, honey and granola. A selection of baked goods, coffee and beautiful custom cookies. Simple and delicious!

Thank you to my wonderful family and Mom for doing everything they can for me and my Mini Winnie. I had the most wonderful time and , as I mentioned that it’s more sweet because we haven’t had the chance to see one another for the past few years. I love you as well and I miss all of you.
