Do you want to look polished while traveling but feel at ease? I’ve got you covered!
I’m not going to boast or exaggerate this blog post however, I’ve almostaccomplished how to pack my carry-on exclusively and a crucial component of that is what I wear during my travels. I like to always be comfortable, especially since it makes me feel more comfortable traveling, and also looks polished. So, how can accomplish this?
I’ve listed four styles that I’ve worn legally during flights, many of them more than once. These are all simple, which is a part of my packing guidelines that are minimal. I like to include an item that stands out but for the major of the time, these are basic pieces that will be worn over and over again during the trip. It is important to note that I usually make my hair and makeup to travel, which adds to my appearance of being polished. It could be due to my fear of flying. Making the effort to get prepared helps me feel more in control in looking and feeling at ease.
In addition, I am working on my carry-on and only packing blog, so if you have any concerns about how I do it, please let me know. If not, here are a few outfits for the plane that you can wear on your next travels:
My Travel Uniform
My favorite outfit is: comfy loose denim , like pants or black leggings. An open, long tee, typically black or white. It is essential to have a roomier fit as bloats in flight are something you’ve all experienced experience often! It’s a great look to wear a black leather jacket , or denim jacket along with an over-sized scarf, season-dependent. The shoes are white or black booties. I also put on the hat if traveling with one to ensure that it doesn’t end up in my suitcase. Make sure you don’t leave to put it within the overhead storage bin like I’ve done more than I’d prefer to admit. The combination is always warm and is suitable for a range of places!
I initially took these pictures as part of a marketing campaign I ran in conjunction with Samsonite Canada, but I am happy to inform you that I’ve been using the pink and pink suitcase for two years and it’s incredible. It’s extremely light, and barely scratches on it! I’m surprised that reviews claim it is was damaged, even though I’ve only looked it over a couple of times. I’ve provided a link to the same model, only in silver.
Winter Travel
I’ve been doing greater winter trips than before, and it has challenged my capacity to carry-on-only. I enjoy traveling to Europe during November and December because it’s quieter while the holiday spirit stays extremely strong. The only downside is that the weather can be unpredictable and you need to be prepared for everything! I’ve got a complete list of what I packed for two weeks in Europe and carry-on bags only coming to the blog in the near future however, for now I’ll mention that my outfit for travel in winter is a minor variant of the previously mentioned Travel Uniform.
The best way to do this is to wear an underlayer of well-fitting winter coat as the hustle and bustle of airports and train stations is bound to make you sweat. The coat is easily placed in the overhead bin when flying. The most painful thing for me is when I need to change my normal shoes by winter booties. They’re too heavy and uncomfortable on my feet however often they’re necessary.
Business Casual
If I need to dress professional on a flight I like to wear the most comfortable trousers. Consider a more spacious leg with breathable fabrics, as well as a the waistband that is stretchy. A shirt or blouse tucked in with a structured jacket, with a style that is based on the weather conditions as discussed earlier, will complete the classic style. The footwear is the most difficult aspect, because it’s all about a low heels in my closet (or according to your personal preference This is a select your own adventure arrangement) and I would prefer to wear a functional high-heeled bootie or the standout flat that’s comfortable and will keep your feet comfortable during your journeys.
SHOP THE LOOK:
Long Haul and Red Eye Flights
The key for me to long-haul flights is to make it feel as if you’re in pyjamas, but not actually wearing jammies. My preferred style includes the black pants (specifically that Lululemon Align pant), tanks or a long-sleeved tee and sneakers. If it’s not too hot, I’d put a grey hoodie on top or a light jacket on the top, as well as the blanket scarf. A baseball cap is a great way to bring the entire look together however only if you’ll wear it during your journey. I don’t even wear any makeup on such planes because sleeping on the plane is difficult enough and I don’t want my sleep mask to squish my mascara-covered eyelashes.
